In the desert of Yondo the group gets separated and Shimata and Conan search for the others and Shimata tells him the legend of Tolometh. They find all their friends and slay a demon but in the process Welyn is cursed and Daedikaron and Tros are transformed briefly by sorcery.
Note - This is a "loose" adaptation of the Clark Ashton Smith tale.
